Woot I just got a Mamiya m645 for christmas! I know its still Nov 24th but I got to pick one gift to open like always and I just so happened to open the one I wanted haha!
I will be taking photos with it soon so expect those!
very nice, sir! sounds like you've got yourself a good system there. I never really invested too much in my mamiya; I've only got a 220 insert, an 80mm, a prism (unmetered) and umm... my very own homemade waist level viewfinder! Seriously. Get a little cardboard box and tape it to the top and you're set.
I've been looking around for a good deal on a wider lens for it (I prefer wider) but I've yet to find one in my price range. Say, you want an 80mm... want to trade? They're probobly the same mount, but I could be wrong. We'd have to see.
well, merry christmas! is this your first venture into medium format? it's about a million zillion times sharper than 35mm and I love it. even those tiny 6x4.5's.
mine is similar to yours, probobly older, but similar. I've been shooting with my old Yashica twin lens mostly but I still love my mamiya. the clunk is rather satisfying.
